Great Orange Haze Photo Shoot

In early June, there was an orange haze that blanketed New York City. The massive plumes of smoke came from forests in Canada and covered many states in the Northeast.

A whole creative crew ventured into Manhattan and took advantage of the dystopian skies. The final photos from the series look like something out of the film Blade Runner.

There was incredible focus on the camera's fish eye lens as well as models, makeup, hair, outfits and poses. The photographs feel like something out of a 1990's high fashion magazine. As the world headed into the year 2000, the youth had an optimistic sense of the future.
