Prince Peacock Dances Real Life
Did you ever see the Prince Peacock marionette hanging in our store window?
Last year, I was able to bring my logo to life. It was custom-made by The Squeaking Tribe in Woodford, Australia. This is Prince Peacock, photographed in their magical studio across the world. I sent them a sketch over email, and this is what they shipped me!
The Squeaking Tribe is a traveling exhibition of handmade marionettes and interactive puppets, created by Sol and Sara Lee. They’ve been at it since 1996 and have made thousands of fully functional puppets by hand. You can explore more on their website or shop their work on Etsy!
I had this marionette made right before we signed the lease for the storefront last year. I finally feel settled in and have a little more time to share things that make me happy.
I've been looking for puppeteers in NYC who can help bring the Prince Peacock #Marionette to life. If you know anyone, send them my way.
