Prince Peacock Seen in Hyperallergic
Prince Peacock's jewelry display was part of a photo series at the group show at Lorimoto Gallery for Ridgewood Open Studios.
The display is made out of a damaged 1920s clock. And the jewelry is vintage West German plastics and 90s holograms. I love taking broken things and reworking them.
"All artists in Ridgewood NYC - In the spirit of DIY, we are putting this together because it’s about time. Free and simple just like the old days."
"Ridgewood Open Studios founder Nao Matsumoto marveled at the crowds that attended throughout the weekend. More than 200 people came to the opening night party at his gallery Lorimoto, which featured 83 works by neighborhood artists."
You can read more about it here! Written and photographed by Aaron Short.
